The Communication Engineering major at Suqian University began its first enrollment in 2004. After the Ministry of Education officially approved Suqian University as a full-time undergraduate university in 2014, the Communication Engineering major became one of the self operated majors in 2016. At present, there are 1102 graduates from ten classes and 393 undergraduate students enrolled in the major.
Our communication engineering major is closely integrated with the actual economic and social development of Suqian, mainly cultivating a strong sense of engineering, practical ability, and innovative spirit. It has a solid foundation in mathematics, physics, and communication engineering technology, systematically mastering the basic theories, knowledge, and skills in the field of communication, possessing good analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as good foreign language proficiency. It can engage in communication engineering research, development, and teaching in enterprises, research institutions, and higher education institutions in the fields of communication, computer networks, electronics, and other related areas.
The Communication Engineering major is designed to meet the needs of the information society and economic development, and to cultivate advanced engineering and technical talents with good scientific qualities in the research and application of electronic communication and computer network systems. Its curriculum system consists of three parts: general education platform, professional foundation platform, and professional application platform.
After years of construction and development, the Communication Engineering major has made significant progress in various aspects such as professional construction, talent cultivation, faculty team building, and teaching and research. The overall educational conditions of our university have obvious advantages among various majors, and compared with similar universities in the province and China, it also has certain characteristics and advantages.
